Beautiful venue run by a fabulous team. Everything was pristine and they went out of their way to make us feel utterly comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. The main house is very rustic and carefully preserved. The grounds are simply breathtaking! I'm definitely going back! :)
This place is magical. We had our wedding on October 28, 2017 at Richwood on the River and it was a dream wedding. Colleen and Kelsey do everything in their power to make all you requests happen. It rained the whole night before our wedding and there was spots of standing water under our tent. Colleen and her husband literally spent a part of the day removing the water out of the ground. They did all this without even telling me so I wouldn't stress.They will literally do anything to make your wedding day better. I could relax the whole weekend because of Colleen and her staff. Colleen sits down with you on your 30 day meeting before the wedding and organizes all your plans, vendors, and itenerary. She makes a weekend timeline and sends it to your vendors the week of the wedding so everyone is on the same page. The weekend of our wedding was truly a dream. Colleen we love you!
My husband and I had our wedding at Richwood on the River this past weekend and it was AMAZING. Simply put, if I could give the venue and Colleen Sutton (the owner and manager) 1,000,000 stars I would ... and even then it might not do it justice still. The location itself is like absolutely gorgeous and the attention to detail is second to none. Every location we took photos at our photographers were in awe with the backdrop. Most importantly, so many of our guests came up to us let us know how amazing they thought the venue was and how much fun they had. The words "this was the best wedding I have ever been to" were heard often. We LOVE you Colleen and cannot wait to be back for our anniversary!!!!

The owner, manager, and staff are warmly welcoming and highly skilled. The food was top notch. The grounds and scenery are lovely. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Be sure to stay two nights. Plenty to see across the river In Madison, Indiana.
